Introduction
Visibility Kit tracks the visits that AI tools send to your site. When someone asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity a question and clicks through to your site, Visibility Kit records that visit and tells you which tool sent it. It answers a question your normal analytics makes harder than it should be: how much real traffic is the AI layer sending me, and from which tools?
How it works
A lightweight script on your site reads the referrer on each visit and recognizes the ones that come from AI tools. Because it runs in the browser, it works whether or not your pages are cached. See How tracking works for the full picture, and AI referrers for the tools we identify.
